Vintage Welsh Blanket Coats

 

A Sustainable Tailoring Project in Collaboration with Refugees and Asylum Seekers at Oasis Cardiff. 

 

Funded by The Ashley Family Foundation & Viridor ‘Prosiect Gwyrdd’.

 

An opportunity for participants to improve their employability and language skills and gain a sense of well being and achievement. 

The under collar is made from snooker table felt off-cuts and an End-of-Roll fabric is used for the lining and pockets.

All Blancot off-cuts are made into lavender hearts and draught excluders.

Description:

A fully lined, medium length winter coat with collar and lapel, drop shoulders and welt pockets. 

 

Fastened with vintage/re-claimed buttons and bound buttonholes.

Oversized style for size S

Fitted style for size M/L
